There are 19 different trades from which you can chose your career, but there are also many collages in India which offers degree/diploma courses, depends upon their scope of approval. like for example Singhaniya University in Rajasthan offers Degree in Aeronautical(4years), as well as BSc in AME(3years), if you have already done AME with all 5sem. marksheet and further want to study, then on the basis of 5sem, marksheet Singhaniya University offers you lateral entry in BSc in AME ( you need to cleare only 6th. sem) and you can also opt for regular or correspondence in this course. If you want to go for Aeronautical Engineering, then you need to study only final year i.e. 7th and 8th sem(regular). With such courses, offered by universities AME can also get degree(graduation), and also can apply for Indian Airforce or in any other exam requiring alteast graduation. Moreover, AMEs can also go for MBA in Aviation. this will definately increase you pay scale
