A First Class travel experience begins long before you board your aircraft. That's why all First Class passengers receive Sky Priority service.

When flying First Class on select flights over 1,500 miles, you'll be served fresh entrées created by our team of celebrity chefs. In addition to world-class meals on long-haul flights, we offer complimentary, high-quality, name-brand snacks on Delta and Delta Connection® carrier flights within the United States, Canada and select Latin America/Caribbean¹ destinations.

Food Service

The food and beverage service you receive onboard is based on your flight's time and distance. Here's what you can expect on a particular flight.

Flight Distance:

0-250 Miles (up to 1 hour)
Choose from a selection of complimentary snacks: peanuts, pretzels or Biscoff cookies.

251-899 Miles (1 to 2 hours)
Choose from a selection of complimentary snacks. Morning flights (departures 05:00-09:45) offer peanuts, pretzels, Biscoff cookies, biscotti, bananas, Otis Spunkmeyer muffins and Quaker Oats chewy granola bars. All other flights offer peanuts, pretzels, apples, Twix, Toblerone, Sun Chips and Walkers shortbread cookies.
900-1,499 Miles (about 2-3.5 hours)
A delicious meal will be served during meal times, in addition to our snack selection.
More than 1,500 Miles (3.5 hours +)
A delicious meal will be served, in addition to our snack selection.

Flights between New York (JFK) and Los Angeles and San Francisco

You'll enjoy our transcontinental BusinessElite dining experience, a three-course menu designed by renowned Chef Michael Chiarello. His distinctive creations include an antipasto plate, entrée and dessert course, featuring fine cheeses and gelati.
Alaska, Hawaii and International Flights
You'll enjoy a delicious meal on select Alaska and Hawaii flights (based on flight times).

Special Meals

Gluten-free? Kosher? Diabetic? No problem. We accommodate seventeen different special meals. These special meals are available in First Class, BusinessElite® and Economy Class on flights where complimentary meal service is offered. View the complete list of special meals to determine which meal meets your need.
Please make all special meal requests through  My Trips at least 24 hours before your scheduled flight departure. Once you check in, let the gate agent and a flight attendant know that you ordered a special meal.
