For as long as we've been flying, there have been certain Economy Class seats that most travelers seem to prefer. We call them: Preferred Seats.
Medallion members can book any Economy fare. Non-Medallion members can book any Y, B, or M Economy Class ticket.
Step 2) Select a Preferred Seat at time of ticket purchase.
Preferred seats are available at no additional cost. Or, visit My Trips, if you already have a ticket. M Economy Class tickets can select complimentary Preferred Seats when checking in.
Step 3) Settle in and relax.

1,400 Miles or More (3+ hours)
Our premium EATS menu is available on domestic (U.S. and Canada), Latin America and Caribbean flights during meal times. Breakfast is available from 5:00 am to 8:59 am and lunch/dinner is available from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Coast-to-Coast
For flights between New York and one of three cities on the West coast (Seattle, San Francisco or Los Angeles) you can expect breakfast from 5:00 am to 8:59 am and lunch/dinner is available from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. Our Coastal EATS menu.
A separate Hawaii EATS menu is available on flights between Atlanta and Honolulu.

A selection of complimentary beers, wines, spirits and cocktails are offered in the First Class cabin. And for our Delta Shuttle travelers, complimentary beer and wine is offered throughout the cabin and complimentary cocktails are offered in First Class on all Delta Shuttle flights.
Please make all special meal requests through My Trips at least 24 hours before your scheduled flight departure. Once you check in, let the gate agent and a flight attendant know that you ordered a special meal.
