About Aerogulf Services
Established in Dubai in 1976, AEROGULF SERVICES COMPANY (‘AEROGULF’) is both a commercial helicopter operator and an aviation maintenance facility. The Company is based at the new Dubai World Central (Al Maktoum) International Airport near Jebel Ali and currently operates a fleet comprising AW139, Bell 212 and 206 helicopters. All of our twin-engined helicopters are fully-equipped for Offshore IFR Operations and are maintained and operated to the highest international standards. Regular audits by both local and international Regulatory Authorities and our own Clients’ Auditors serve as long-standing evidence of our continuing fiscal and safety reliability. AEROGULF has proven time and time again that it can deliver the highest degree of cost-effective and dependable service with the client’s interest always at the forefront.
AEROGULF SERVICES provides vital support to the Offshore Oil and Gas production industries in the Northern Emirates, GCC Countries and beyond. The Company’s current major clients include Dubai Petroleum, DNO International/DNO Oman Limited and Masirah Oil Limited. AEROGULF provides a regular and reliable helicopter service to offshore locations 365 days per year, by day or by night, with a full IFR capability.
Aerogulf is 100% owned by prominent Dubai businessmen. It currently employs about 90 staff and is managed by a highly professional staff of western expatriates.

1. Offshore Operations
AEROGULF has decades of experience providing continuous helicopter support to the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry, - providing both day and night (IFR & VFR) helicopter support to platforms, installations and vessels offshore. All of the helicopters in our Offshore Fleet are fully IFR-equipped and are maintained and operated to the highest international standards.
We are able to offer a range of leasing options to suit your own regional and aircraft-specific requirements, including a full ‘Turn-Key’ Wet-Lease Option with full crewing and maintenance support where this may be required.
Currently, we can quote for the provision of IFR/VFR Offshore Oil & Gas Support Services (including Night CASEVAC coverage) using AW139, Bell 412 and Bell 212 helicopters as required by the customer.
2. Wet and Dry Lease Contractual Work
Whether for Onshore Field Work or Offshore Oil & Gas Support Operations, AEROGULF would be pleased to offer you a solution to your Helicopter Support problem. Depending on your particular requirements, we can offer you a range of options from a full ‘DRY’ LEASE (aircraft only), ‘DAMP’ LEASE (Aircraft with some provision of Maintenance and Crewing), to a full ‘WET’ (FULL SERVICE)LEASE with the choice of a full ‘TURN-KEY’ operation, where we will provide everything on site or a graded level of service to suit the particular operation, location and customer requirement.

3. Aerial Work
AEROGULF offers its customers the capability of accessing difficult and remote terrain/locations for whatever purpose. Whether you need our reliable twin-engined Bell 212 Workhorse to delivery under-slung cargo payloads, to transport passengers to remote sites, or for remote survey and seismic support work, we have an economical option for your needs. Our efficient and economical fleet of Bell 212 and 206 helicopters will allow us to recommend the best option to suit both your requirements and your budget. AEROGULF prides itself in offering its customers a safe and cost-effective aerial work solution. We have a lot of return customers!
AERIAL CRANE: We have specialized in Aerial Crane work for many years, offering many advantages in manpower and timesaving costs. Our helicopters enable contractors to work quickly and safely to precisely position air-conditioning units and other essential heavy items onto rooftops or difficult locations. Where the traditional crane cannot reach, our Bell 212 usually can! We offer highly competitive, all-inclusive pricing for aerial lifting work. Additional fee costs for necessary permits and waivers may apply. Our normal maximum under-slung load is approximately 3000 lbs or 1364 kgs in ideal winter temperature conditions at sea-level.
4.Aerial Photography and Filming
AEROGULF has been providing helicopter filming platforms to the Motion Picture, Press and Media Industry since 1976. The Company has extensive experience of aerial filming and aerial photography, including television, video and movie work using stabilized WEST CAM and TYLER Mounts, with door and nose installations/approved Camera Platform STCs. Past customers include the BBC, CNN, Dubai TV, National Geographic and movie/media and documentary photographers and producers from around the world.

5. Helicopter Tourist Flights in Dubai
Aerogulf can arrange Tourist Flights (along pre-determined routes) using Bell 212 and Bell 206 Long Ranger and Jet Ranger helicopters for local passenger flights within the UAE.
Quotations for specific departure points, destinations, photography flights, aerial work etc other than from Dubai Festival City Heliport are available upon request.
6. VIP, Private and Corporate Helicopter Management
AEROGULF would be pleased to advise clients on the purchase and operation of any specific type of VIP/PRIVATE/CORPORATE helicopter under its Helicopter Management Service (HMS). This service is aimed at potential helicopter owners in the above categories who would like to make use of a true ‘TURN-KEY’ Helicopter Management Service, covering the following provisions:
- Expert advice and professional assistance from AEROGULF’s highly qualified and experienced team in the sourcing, refitting and purchasing of suitable helicopter(s) for the Customer’s particular requirements. Whether buying a new or pre-owned aircraft, including dealing with manufacturer’s and brokers on the purchaser’s behalf, we aim to give VIP, Private and Corporate Owners the best value for money from owning their own helicopter.
- Assistance in properly Importing and registering the aircraft within the UAE and ensuring that the client’s operation remains in strict compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Provision of a full-service contract for the maintenance of any such VIP/PRIVATE or CORPORATE helicopter, including on-site maintenance at any local private residence, giving owners peace of mind in the quality of their own aircraft’s maintenance and serviceability.
- Provision of a Full-Service Contract for the provision of suitable Pilot(s) for any such helicopter(s), with relief/replacement pilots provided when necessary. All pilots are strictly vetted by AEROGULF to ensure suitability for the client and professional ability for the aircraft chosen.
- Ability to Charter such helicopters when not required by the owner and to be chartered by other HMS owners when their own helicopter is not available or under maintenance.
- Secure storage at AEROGULF’s Dubai World Central main facility as and when required.
- Expert advice on the location and design of a private or corporate helipad, storage hangar or aircraft shelter.
- Health, Safety and Security advice on the location and use of the client’s aircraft.
7. Engineering, Overhaul and Specialist Support Services
AEROGULF is pleased to offer the following Engineering / PART 145 Maintenance under UAE GCAA and FAA Repair Station services:
- Repair and Overhaul of dynamic rotating components (C8, C10, & C11 Ratings) for Bell 412, 212 and 206 series Helicopters, including:
- Complete Drive trains
- Main Rotor/Tail Rotor Hubs
- Main Transmissions
- Tail Rotor Drive Shafts
- Swash Plate Assembly
- Intermediate and Tail Rotor Gearboxes
- Bell approved Tail boom jig for repairs on Bell 412 & 212 aircraft
- NDT level 2, Fluorescent Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection, Ultrasonic inspection of BHT P/N 204-011-121-ALL Main Rotor Grips and Eddy Current.
- Aircraft spray Shop facilities
- Air-Conditioned Hangar support facilities catering for 3rd Party Maintenance requirements and repairs (by prior arrangement)
- Aircraft Ni-Cad and Lead Acid Battery Repair, Overhaul and Capacity Check (C5 Rating)
- Safety & Survival Equipment including Life Rafts, Life Raft Survival Pack, Life Jackets and Aircraft Floats servicing & Flotation bottle charging
- Aircraft Structural Repairs including Major, Minor and Field repairs.
- AEROGULF’s Maintenance Department has provided a dedicated aircraft engineering service since the Company was formed in 1976.
- Our maintenance facility is currently located at the Dubai World (Al Maktoum) International Airport. The maintenance facility consists of a fully air-conditioned hangar for rotary wing aircraft, supported by the Engineering, Management /Administration and associated support workshops.
- AEROGULF employs over 50 personnel in its Engineering Department including type-qualified and experienced helicopter maintenance engineers and workshop technicians.
